Lead
The International Lead Association – Europe (ILAE) is the leading organization in the lead industry dealing with the registration of lead and lead compounds under REACH.
The “pre-registration” phase of the EU’s REACH Regulation officially ended on 1 December 2008. The next phase in the process involves pre-registered companies coming together to form a Substance Information Exchange Forum (SIEF) for each substance to be registered. ILA-Europe is coordinating this activity on behalf of the Lead REACH Consortium for all lead substances within the Consortium’s remit.
